Winter's Transmissions was over in the same area.
Do remember "The Land of NED" as it was called in the 60's & 70's
I don't know if you remember Clayton B Wright and his Slo-Motion Hemi Cuda?
Clayton helps out at my shop when we get busy and need an extra hand.
And he still has the 68 Hemi Cuda.

Clayton Wright is so familiar, brings back memories...
Below are two pix of my car, the orange was when I ran out of a Dodge dealership in Philadelphia. My car was the old "Pink Panther" that was owned by Glen Finicle.
I painted the car white and gold and ran out of Kanuika's shop where Jungle Jim was.
The later car is marked B/MP because NHRA decide to throw out the older lightweight Hemi's from Superstock in 1971.

I had a 66 Dart 273 four speed car that ran better than the specs said was possible. I tuned the motor, a little this and that, and ran a 4:89 gear with M&H slicks on the street. That little 273 ran good!
I told my boys about these times, back when cars were cars! We were going to build another 66 Dart, but life had some challenges. I did purchase another 66 Dart GT 273 but I am doing this without my boys. I plan to put in a 415 cu in Indy Head motor with a trans brake 904 tranny. I have the 8 3/4 rear end with a 4:88 posi and disc brakes, so far. I hope Clayton is still doing well. I left PA in 72 to finish my education.
God Bless!

Just spoke with Clayton a few weeks ago, he's still doing lawn mower repairs in the summer.
Benny who owned Trenton Speed Shop had passed away a few years ago.
Clayton mentioned that Andy Kish is still going strong.
