AMG CLK 63 Vert Prices > Black Series
Apparently so in the twin cities.

Interestingly, the Carfax says the car in ~$400 below book (which speaks to Carfax's utility). And dealer writes in its description "don't pay to much for a great looking convertible." Wonder if they'll blame the guy who writes the copy or the guy who sets prices if this car sits? It does however present an interesting arbitrage for a person who owns a vert who's looking to trade one in for an Audi.
Any theories on this one?

I went to see this to actually see if that price was true... it is i guess. I would think that this is more along the lines of used black series pricing with higher miles? i think your right about the trade-in pricing haha!

More expensive than the one in my initial post AND more miles. If there are any owners of CLK63 convertibles out there that want to trade in their cars, now might be a great time. If nothing else, it be an interesting conversation with a sales rep trying to explain the price disparity between your trade in and the car sitting in their lot.

They are both "black" afterall. It's Mercedes' fault for being confusing.
Look, you take a regular "black" series, make it convertible, add 2 backseats, and it must be worth more! Plus, they got rid of that stupid bar that goes across the trunk. Premium luxury.
