DK the vehicle personally but I think it is one of two recently offered by Texas Direct (also in Houston) w/an ask in the low 50's. Also remember it listed for sale at Toy Barn in Ohio. Looks like it's been for sale since 2012? Noticed a theft was reported on its Carfax. That's new.

....Yes I noticed the theft too and that is new to the Carfax report (but the theft incident is not new--dated from Nov. 2013). Another thing that has changed on the report is the number of owners! It now states 7 whereas of a month ago it was 5.

May be worth going to Texas and test drive it to see if it actually runs properly. Would be fun toy around town or at the track if you get it dirt cheap...

Agreed. A 7 owner car that's now showing a stolen carfax report and sat at a dealer for 5 months and couldn't sell for $48k? The vultures will be circling.
