European Carbon Fiber Door Panels For Sale
Guys I have a set of OEM panels that I want to get rid of. I have heard they are near impossible to get in the states and are very expensive to obtain from Germany.
The condition of the left side is near perfect, and the right side has a minor kit in the fabric from the seatbelt contacting it. The carbon fiber portion is near perfect on both sides.
PM me if interested. Thank you.

The more comprehensive (and OEM) way is to SCN code the airbag module to the European spec. This can be done by someone who is good with Mercedes diagnostic tools.
If you are referring to the CLK BS specifically, removing the side airbag light isn't as hard as other models. This is mainly because the car does come with this door panel from the factory so there is an option in the SCN coding for it in all CLK BS.
Hope this help and I will do my best to help out where I can.

Great info! Thanks for the correction
You can measure the resistance of the airbag and add a resistor in place. Those of you that have installed race seats in your CLK can do the same to get rid of the airbag light there which I have done.

The two pictures in post #8 which show
the backside of the door panels
Could you please post a picture of the OEM part number on the white tags
which are stuck on the back of the carbon fiber AMG insert
There should be a part number for each side
Thank-You
