CLK63 Black Series market....what is going on??

I'm helping to sell my bosses CLK Black which is here in the SF bay area and it's only listed on Autotrader at the moment.
It has around 23k miles and the only reason it's being sold is he recently passed. He really really loved the CLK ( as i told him he would ! ) and i dont think he would have ever sold it otherwise.

silver car with 600 miles reduced again to 95K....probably cuz about 5 more cars just hit the market including a white one with about 300 miles

The well known 'green CLK Black Series' just received a high bid of $40k on Bring A Trailer. Not sure if it sold for that, or if it was just the final bid.

That silver 601 mile car sold from dealer to dealer back in November for $88,500. So not sure what the actual retail number is now going on most of a year later.
