Help with Fit & Finish of Body Panels

Calling all current CLK63 BS owners. I'm looking for guidance on the fit and finish of the front fender flares to the doors on your BS. Specifically, the vertical panel gaps and their consistency. Also the comparison of these gaps from the driver side to the passenger side on your car. I am looking to understand if the vertical gap seams from the front fender to the door (the vertical gap running under the mirror to the rocker panel) are "irregular" as an idiosyncrasy of the car or a sign of a potential non-reported accident. My experience with MB is their panel gaps tend to be exact and consistent across the car. These flares are not metal correct? Is there a slight crease in yours by the final arc running up to the hood almost directly above the 6.3 Badge?

I've been given conflicting information on what is considered "normal" on early BS cars from people in the industry. Some say they are perfect. Others have said they were all one-offs and the fit/finish from AMG was not as precise as their line-cars.

Thanks in advance for taking a quick look and reporting back.

Please disregard. Information no longer needed.

I answered the question the "fun" way. Smiles cannot be measured by panel gap differences or lack thereof.

I think they are fiberglass so they can “vary” over time. There are screws inside the engine bay that attach the fenders that can be adjusted to improve the gaps
