Well I tried this film. I’m not saying it is a bad product, but I couldn’t make it look good. I have replaced the film on our 911 and Aston Martin and had no trouble with making them go on and look perfect.

Props to you for attempting yourself. Your car is worthy of a full PPF treatment.
I haven't had the rear fenders done on my BS but my front clip (front bumper, fenders, hood, headlights, and mirrors) are all protected with XPEL. I have another car that has even more film on it. When I am driving these cars I feel much more comfortable than when driving my cars that don't have it. It is expensive but it does provide peace of mind to a degree.
