Black Series on BAT
A white Black Series was listed today on Bring a Trailer. Has nine days to go should be interesting. Looks like someone is going to have a new toy for Christmas.

White is stunning.
Very interested to see the final price. I believe this car was for sale in south florida back in 2016. Dealer was asking 95/100k. I’m curious if it was worth keeping it stored away. Thoughts?

Seems to me everything is more expensive in Florida.....but sure, tuck that bad boy away and keep it clean, and miles low......could be worth more in the future! Some guru's should chime in soon

I bought mine on BAT last June with 1600 miles on it. It is a great car and fun to drive but I don’t want to put too many miles on it. I think low mileage cars like the CLK black series might just be a very good investment. And definitely more fun that your IRA or 401k. The really low mileage cars are getting harder and harder to find.

Joking aside I’m sure the low mile cars will be worth 200k easily in 10 years.

Not to be a kill joy, but who cares if the values go up in 10 years? If 2020 has taught us anything, it is that tomorrow is never promised. So what good is holding on to an amazing car like this and never driving it, and then just dying one day without ever having really enjoyed it? Seriously. I just don't get it.

I’ll be 73 in January. So I don’t know if I will even be around in ten years, but I do enjoy my collection of low mileage cars. All have less than 11000 miles on them, only two have more than 7000 miles on them, and three have never been in the rain. I get as much enjoyment caring for them maintaining them and looking at them as driving them. I may be crazy but I’m looking at two other very low mileage cars at the present time. Wish I had a bigger garage.

I always enjoy seeing your comments, and it’s very cool to see someone if your wisdom/age still driving these wild cars. While I agree with Doctor to some extent, everyone enjoys there cars differently. I love driving the hell out of my cars and wrapping up the day with a nice wash and leaving them nice and clean in the garage. Some people like to just see them as art work (some of them really are art) and others just like to drive them. At the end different strokes for different folks. I guess the main point is hopefully we all enjoy them in our own weird and quirky ways because it’s true, no one knows what the future holds for us. Better we enjoy it than the next owner!

the white lettering on the seat headrests was poorly done and it had more rock chips on rear fenders than one would like/expect. I thought it would sell for more but large parts of the country can not drive it right now with winter.
