Brake Pads

Have another question for all. Getting so much dust with the stock brake pads. Not sure if it’s because they are old but it’s the worst I’ve experienced. Any recs on what people use on their black series? Thanks!

easiest way to rid dust is to convert to MBCC brakes, a black CLK63BS has done this in Asia/Taiwan, by retro-fitting the MBCC brakes from a GT R (Pro), the black calipers with white lettering is quite good looking too.

I'd love an AMG retrofit with CCBs. I just went with new OEM pads for now. It was hard finding the right aftermarket ones. This car seems like a hard one to find answers to given the low production numbers!

Brake pads are the same than W204 C63 AMG.including Black Series
For after market it depends on your use : classic road, or track/spirit drviving.

For classic road, OEM or Brembo (P50 142) are quite good and cheap.
For track, I used to put PAGID RSL1 or RS29. The issue is that all the neighourghood will hear you when you brake. It squeeze a lot.
If you have to change brake disc Brembo is a good option. Quite less expensive than OEM and good quality

Thank you! I went ahead and ordered the OEM pads. I think they are old and thats why they might be super dusty. I've run Ferodos on my gt3 for track use and was very happy with them. I may do a track day or two with this car but won't be out there regularly. This will be a weekend muscle car fun machine for me!

Porterfields (take a while to warm up, are noisey, but grab like hell and can take massive heat, great for tracking)
or Akebono's (great all around pads! I use them on all our vehicles. C32 Pads lasted 175K miles! Lots of hard driving to boot, no dust!).
Stock pads suck.
