Very Hard Cold shifting....anyone else?
Hello all my 2010 launch edition is exhibiting VERY hard cold shifting in the lower gears. I have turned all park and drive assist garbage off and yet it still does the same thing. I took it to a local dealer and they said its normal untill it has warmed up, WTF? i have driven s550, e550, old cls550, range rovers, 760li, and never had this problem ever. Its rough to the point where my passengers have asked "WAS THAT NORMAL?"
please advise my car had 8k miles on it. anyone else have this prob?

Do you mean 2012? I have one and it does not exhibit t he same issue you mentioned. I would go back and test drive one on the lot to feel the difference. Take a service manager or service tech with you to show the difference.

sorry yes 2012. Car was at dealer for one week and service manager at dealership said that it was normal! Should i try another dealer?

First of all...wow! Looking at your signature, you've had some amazing cars. Cheers! I would defintely have another dealership look at it. If your passengers are questioning you on it something has to be off.

sounds abnormal. I'm in FL so not sure how cold it has to be for one to experience such noise. Regardless of weather, these cars should not behave as such. I would do what Buckeyes suggested. Press on and I'm sure you'll get a more serious evaluation. Or just go to another dealer to see what they have to say.
