Rear Diffuser from CLS63 for CLS550 Question
Hello, if anyone know or did that, i have CLS550 2012 and want to make it look like CLS 63, so if i get CLS63 Diffuser/Lower Bumper panel, will it fit CLS550 Sport Package? I know on S63 diffuser fits fine in S550 sport package, but want to make sure before i buy it.

The exhausts tip for the cls550 isn't attached to the actual exhaust. This may or may not affect the fitment of the cls63 bumper. I haven't taken a look under a cls63 so i wouldn't know. Fitment-wise, it should be the same, but since the car is still relatively new, there aren't really aftermarket parts for the cls. I guess we just have to wait.

Though CLS550 OEM tail pipes are not with exhausts, as above Link, availabe to apply CLS63 style dual tail pipes by welding. (CLS350 pic)
(may cut original tail pipe bracket on bumper) And CLS63 oem diffuser is fit on CLS550 AMG package rear bumper.

from my digging and various pics i've been able to deduce the following:
-the cls550 exhaust tips are mounted to the diffuser, i don't believe the cls63's are
-the cls550 diffuser has cut outs to be bolted on underneath the bumper which the cls63 diffuser doesn't have
now the questions remains...can they be swapped and how much body work needs to be done to make it work

UPDATE
I drive 13' cls550 AMG sport pkg
So today i went to Mercedes benz and gave them a random vin # from a cls63 listed on ebay. The part # for the rear diffuser insert is 218-885-24-25
360 +40 tax = $400
It should be delivered in 2 days. When it arrives I will see if any other parts, brackets, etc. are necessary in order to do cls63 rear conversion.
Also, now I am looking to buy rep AMG exhaust tips. When I did the s63 conversion I was able to purchase from another board member at a great price

The diffuser came in today. Looks like it fits right on.
4 rivets and 2 screws look like they are necessary for installation ($20)
I did not want to install the diffuser without putting on the tips in the same shot
The exhaust tips are arriving tomorrow
I should have it all set up by saturday with pictures
Also wanted to mention i did a resonator delete and WOW
I was able to retain the class of the mercedes. Still quiet and classy until you kick down. It barks just like an AMG

Complete
Finally got the diffuser replaced 1,2,3
The exhaust tips arrived today overnight from CA. In the past I bought rep 63 tips from another board member for my s63 conversion which had AMG logo's .
This set has no logo but is almost identical to the other pair.
Overall very happy,
The new look along with the resonator delete has given me a completely new appreciation for the biturbos

I was thinking of replacing the rear mufflers with borla's so i can add the exhaust and tips at once.. Then. After that see if i need to remove the resonator or not

Looks great...did the CLS63 diffuser fit with existing rivet holes/screws or did you have to do any drilling?
