How long does take European Delivery car to get east coast??

Hi! I picked up my car (cls 550) on August 15th in Stuttgart and dropped it off on Augusut 28th in berlin. How long do you think will it take to pick up the car in Arlington Mercedes VA? The lady who works there told me that it will take 5 weeks but I see here it will take more than 5 weeks. Has anyone experienced edp and how long did it take?

Thanks guys..

In the same situation with you! Dropped off my CLS550 in Paris on 8/17. Up to now, as far as I and my sales person can tell, it hasn't even been loaded to the boat so I seriously doubt we will see it in 5 weeks after dropoff. My previous BMW EDs took 6 weeks or so but they were dropped off in Munich and it is usually much faster from there.

As far as I know MB is using the same shipping mechanism with BMW. If so, when the car gets on a ship you should be able to track it here:

http://www.2wglobal.com/www/WEP/index.jsp

(click "All users" at the bottom right and enter VIN in the cargo id field). At this point I have no idea where mine is and tomorrow it will be 3 weeks - the web site shows "No Results". Even after it is loaded you need 15-19 days in the boat, and best case scenario 1-2 days customs and 2-3 days at VPC plus tracking to the dealership. If it is not in a boat yet, next one leaves on 9/13 and arrives in Brunswick on 10/1.

Let me know if you find out anything or a way to track them!

thanks for your reply stavs. I tracked it and I got this result

DEBRB1057080 FEDORA CF236-FED BREMERHAVEN 07-09-2012 BALTIMORE, MD 19-09-2012

I guess they shipped my car and it will be in baltimore on 19th, September. Why your car take too long because you dropped it off in paris I guess. I dropped mine to berlin that`s why it takes shorter than yours. I also called my dealer and they told me that mine is on the way. yay

It turns out, even though I still cannot see the car on the WW site, it is already on a boat that will be at Brunswick on Sep 14th! So assuming all goes well at customs and VPC I should have it 1-2weeks after. Really good considering I dropped it off in Paris! Total time should be less than 6 weeks. So yay for both of us

Well mine was built last week and I am chasing the factory collection team so I can pick it up and bring it back to the UK. They wont have being hassled though or hurry themselves.
