Condensation in LED lights
So I pulled the trigger and just got a 2013 CLS 550 4Matic.
I've only had it 72 hours now. The weather here was extremely cold last night and today (below 0 F).
After driving for a bit, I noticed some condensation in all four lights (headlights and tail lights).I've searched the forums and found nothing on this. Google leads me to believe some think this is normal with some head lights, others say the light housing is defective...
If it was one light, then maybe it's a problem...but all four leads me to believe this is "normal".
Anyone else experience this? Should I be concerned?

The manual states that some condensation is normal. I don't believe these are sealed units but I could be wrong. I've had condensation in both front headlights and I live in Hawai'i with no temp change on a humid day. Cleared over night and only happened once.

My lights were filled with condensation when I got my car home from delivery about a year ago, and I was concerned until I saw reports it was normal and saw the statement in the manual. I honestly haven't noticed it since, but I don't really look that closely anymore. ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I wouldn't worry...

Thank you for all the responses. I notice it after driving for a while in the very cold weather here. It dries out by the morning while car is in my garage. I feel more reassured. Although it would be covered by the warranty, I would rather not have to go through that.
Thanks again! I love this car!

Read through the manual and it is actually in there that it is totally normal to have condensation in the headlights in certain weather conditions. I still think it is annoying and looks ugly...
