hi all.. I received my new 2014 CLS550 a few days ago and am currently in the process of having the front license plate removed and the holes filled and painted..

after doing so, i'm trying to figure out a solution in case I get pulled over for not having a front license plate..

I've seen some brackets that go into the tow hook receiver.. and some others that mount under the bumper..

does anyone have a solution or something they can recommend?

Keep plate in car if stopped place in front window that is all that is required.

It is illegal to have a front license plate displayed on your windshield in California....not sure what the laws are in other states.
