resonator delete on lease
I'm thinking of doing the resonator delete on my 2014 CLS. I have done the searches and some members are saying they have gotten the ok from the dealer as long as it is replaced upon lease return.
I have a business and lease all my vehicles under the business (except for my wife's ML350). My 2008 CLS lease return was no problem..no mods. My most recent 2011 Porsche Panamera with moderate mods was a lease buyout and sold privately before the 36mo lease was up.
My question is: has anyone actually done the resonator delete / replace and returned their car at end of the lease? Were there any issues with the dealer?
The first photo is 2nd day after delivery...other photos are after some mods. I will post more when more mods are done...lowering!!

Just go for it!! My 13' cls is leased. If we are paying top dollar to drive these cars we should be able to drive it to our preference.
As long as you return the car to original standing when it is given back then there shouldn't be an issue
I just had my car in for service and they can know about my resonator delete, exhaust tips and diffuser, & aftermarket AMG wheels. None of this was any problem at all, they also invited me to take part in the next car meet.
My dealership is even advising me to go for the renntech tune, and almost guaranteed it would not void the warranty
