CLS550 Cracked Tail Light!
Hey guys,
It seems someone either hit my bumper while parking, or it was a valet driver... not entirely sure.
Either way, my driver side tail light lens cracked, the rest of the assembly is in perfect working condition.
Is it possible to get just the cover replaced at the dealership? Or will I need to replace the full assembly.
My car is around 5 months old... so I am a bit hesitant to purchase a used replacement off ebay. I am concerned either the LEDs will not have the same brightness or that based on different wear and tear, they won't look identical.
You guys think this is a valid concern? If the lens is not replaceable, think better to just bite the bullet and get a new OEM assembly?

According to EPC you will need to replace complete assembly, part # 2189060358 (MSRP $460 to comparison shop, parts.com $276) – PM your VIN so I can confirm part #.
