Ok so normally every time I did a "mod" I would post it. This time I figured I would just make 1 thread. I leased the car end of Nov 13'.(I know Im crazy for modding a leased car)
1. De badged rite away.
2. A few days later tinted windows (I believe 30%)
3. A week later removed resonator and put straight pipes(great sound) nothing drastic, not too loud. I recommend this to anyone looking for a little bit more throaty sound, but not like "hey look at me my cars really loud".
4. A month later I did the "black out" mods. Wrapped window trim(gloss black),wrapped roof(gloss black), wrapped lower front bumper(gloss black).
Painted door handles(gloss black), Grille(gloss/flat), side markers(diamond white), chrome led trim(gloss black), trunk spoiler(gloss black), chrome piece on trunk(diamond white), Tail lights(smoked black), chrome piece on rear bumper(diamond white).
5. Purchased Stance SC6 wheels(got them powder coated gloss black) for spring/summer(NJ roads suck! Potholes salt/snow etc) I'll post pics when mounted.
6. I plan on lowering with Renntech module once wheels are mounted.
Here's some pics, I'll take better ones once the weather is better. Enjoy

Verry nice keep it up bro
Thank you. Stance sc6 powder coated gloss black. 20x9 20x10.5.
I was thinking about a tune, but its just not worth it to me. Its bad enough I already speed all the time.

Lets see those wheels mounted . I almost went with those wheels i bet its going to look amazing
Yea we c.. I have time, NJ roads are destroyed rite now. I blew out 3 front tires already. Im a little worried the rear offset is to low by about 5mm, and front is too high 5mm. I'm too cheap to go with a forged wheel, so I had a hard time finding a wheel I liked that fit.
I hope you are aware car must be retuned at end of lease, back to factory specifications.
Save all your
original parts.

Yes I am aware, I've never had an issue with my 2 prior modded MB's.. I was thinking ill prob just swap taillights with some 1 who has stocks just for "safety" reasons. The thing is the car has stock parts, there just either painted/wrapped.
Put this lip on last night, I don't recommend doing this without an extra set of hands.

looks great, I did most of the same mods as you (I also leased my cls)
You already shelled out all this money, call OE tuning .. for under 1k they flashed my ECU and it was the best thing i ever did.
The difference between stock and a stage1 tune is night and day, our biturbos have a lot of room for improvement.
Im curious to see how your wheels look mounted, i went through about 3 sets driving in the tri-state area.
Theres a car-meet this saturday, you should come get some pictures taken of your car

Looks great!
The painted markers....are they totally blacked out at night?

jett.. im tempted to do a tune, my first priority is to get the Renntech lowering module that's $1,400. My plan is to paint my calipers, and the same weekend mount my wheels. I have a 3 month old at home, it's so hard to find time to do anything. It's hard to say to my wife "hey I'll be in the garage all weekend, leave me alone".
im4u.. thank you. My side markers don't shine thru at night because I taped up the bulbs. If you pull them out they throw a code, and if you leave them in, they will def shine thru the paint, just dull.

congrats on the new-born!
I am also looking into painting my calipers, what color have you decided on?

Thank you! Im going with diamond white to match the car. My second choice would have been like a bronze or copper.

I love the mettalic burnt orange/ copper.
Great choice, cant wait to see the outcome
Do you plan on tackling the job yourself or taking it to a shop to have painted?
I plan on doing it myself one of these weekends. I already received the color matched paint i ordered. I know the proper way to do it is take them off, and get powder coated.. but honestly for a mod that isn't too important to me its not worth the trouble. Im just gonna prep really good, use heat resistant primer and do multiple coats. I'll post pics when done.
painted calipers diamond white, slapped on the wheels.. waiting to lower car before taking full car pics. Debating 5mm spacers on the front.
upfront 20x9 30et 245/35.. 25 et would be perfect.. I plan on lowering soon with an ELM module, ill decide after I do that if I want to slap on a 5mm spacer or not.

Upfront, I have 20x8.5" et20 (yes 20). Car is not lowered and still has room to take at least an other 7mm (maybe as much as 10 more for et10-13, amazing). Basically same front aggressive offsets as C219 and R230. So if car accepts 8.5" et13 or so, and since you will be lowered, you can easily and safely put 10mm spacers (with hubcentric lip) upfront for et20 on 9" (which is same as et13 on 8.5").
Thank you, once im lowered ill take a better look and see what I want to do as far as spacers. Now the rears is the opposite, 285/30 10.5 30et.. needs to be at 35. I will prob roll rear fenders, maybe even machine the wheel a few mm.
Ok soo I did some measuring yesterday, used a straight edge and a ruler to see how much room I have and don't have.
front: 245/35/ 9" 30et is 9mm in from the inside fender edge. I ordered 10mm spacers(stupid mistake since i'm impatient) I should have gotten 5mm spacers, I will prob have to roll my front fenders now.
rear: 285/30 10.5" 30et is about 2mm past the inside fender edge. Noo good! since I want to lower my car to the point where tires are slightly tucked in fenders. I will most likely roll fenders in rear also and cross my fingers. I noticed the inner fender edge is much smaller in the rear then the front, so if unable to roll I might try to shave down the fender lip with a dremel. Other option would be to run a 275 tire.. I rather not stretch.
Car is being lowered Monday, Ill keep you guys posted..*THESE MEASUREMENTS WERE TAKEN FROM THE WIDEST POINT OF THE TIRE EDGE*

Since your car is 4matic(correct me if I'm wrong), there's no front dust caps - both front and rear hubs are identical and are about only 6mm wide/high. So installing 5mm spacers will leave no room for hub to support wheels' weight (wheels would be supported only by bolts) - a very unsafe situation. So in this case either 10mm spacers (and whatever needs to be done to accommodate them) or IMO no spacers (as even 3mm spacers leave not enough hub to support wheels).Originally Posted by bigigg

Yes that's right, you mentioned that to me. I forgot how my front hub looked when I put my new wheels on. Just curious, 10mm spacer has a lip for wheel to sit on.. but spacer will still be sitting on very little hub lip? I think either way 5 or 10mm spacer doesn't seem to safe. Now I have a fear of my lug nuts failing..
