2012 Mercedes CLS 550
My vote is don't add the V8 Biturbo badges. The S550 is a gorgeous machine as presented.

I had briefly put them on my '12 CLS550.....and they looked out of place. Although the Bi-Turbo badge reference is legit, a friend said it looked like I was "..trying too hard to make the car more than it is." Frankly, I never felt comfortable with them there and took them off after 2 weeks. Even my grown sons said it looked cheesy.

What I did instead was upgrade to RENNtech ECU tuning. This allows you to add RENNtech badges to both fenders and back trunk without any guilt. RENNtech gives you these at no charge with the upgrade. (Because I have a Lorinser body package, I did not use the fender badges.) The upgrade took the car from 402hp, to 530hp @ the crank. Basically, I legitimately now have a vehicle that's similar in power to a CLS 63AMG, but I'm not calling it an AMG. In fact, when I upgraded my steering wheel to the Benz Sport model with metal paddles and added rims, I went out of my way to NOT have any AMG tags on them.

A RENNtech tune to your S550 would likely get it on par with an S63. You'd need to speak with them directly for specifics though. That said....you're already spending a bundle on this purchase and a RENNtech tune runs around $3,000....at least for the CLS.
