Jett3jett has the OE tune for our cars and he seems happy with it.

From what I've read, with regards to warranty, it seems like MBZ is more tolerant of the RENNtech tuning vs others on the market. Somebody recently posted that their MBZ dealer actually did the RENNtech install & tuning for them at the dealership! That said, this is probably why RENNtech is by far the most expensive....almost double in most cases. Although, they do upgrade to high performance spark plugs & intake filters as part of the process.

With the high quality options available out there, OE Tuning among them, and having heard virtually no complaints from MBZ owners who've had tuning upgrades done, regardless of which company, spending double the cost is likely unnecessary.

I, on the other hand, did go with RENNtech. Why? More so because they are only an hour away than them being the darlings of MBZ. I was able to make an appointment, wait for the car and then get instant same day gratification on the drive home! Worth every penny! LOL!!

It's been a while that I have OEtuning stage1 on my cls550. It's amazing how the car is transforemed. It's almost like a rocket. Since the tune, I actually drive slower just because it's too fast for the city driving when you press the gas pedal.
No issues, doesn't feel like engine is stressed at all. 5 stars.
More complete report soon, Montreal winter is just over.

I opted for the OE tune supposed to Renntech simply because I am young, I have a 24/mo lease, & after doing my own research and due diligence this is what i was able to sum up….

Very similar gains at stage1 , very different prices
OE tuning is the best bang for your buck. Night and day difference from stock
I have driven 8k miles since my ECU tune and can't think of any complaints.
(Except they never sent me the decals they promised lol)
Great bunch of guys at OE tuning and at Benzworks. Talk to Jeremy or Serge, either one will be sure to take care of you
