Our mbrace locator limited to 1 mile
I was surprised -- while traveling out of state I thought I'd see if my 63 was still safe in my garage using my mbrace account. However I got the message "Unable to locate vehicle. Vehicle is more than 1 mile from your location."
A call to mbrace clarified that there are two locator modes:
1) for locating a parked vehicle nearby your location.
2) for locating a stolen vehicle. This can only be used after a stolen vehicle report is filed with police. Mercedes will then advise the police where the vehicle is located.
I am disappointed 'cause I'd like to know my vehicle is where it should be when I have left it or stored it even if it has not been stolen or if I do not KNOW it has been stolen!

Hmmmm. I did a locate on my car in Denver from New Orleans.
Maybe different years behave differently? Maybe its to prevent MB from getting subpoenaed in divorce proceedings?
