20" wheel options
Hi guys (and girls) I'm new too this site, I've just received my new 2014 CLS 250 cdi AMG sport, I really would like to change the stock rims as they really are too small for a car this size (currently 19" 8.5 front and 9.5 rear) and upgrade to a 20" rim.
I'm not going to be lowering the ride height as we have pretty bad roads at best this side of the pond so I just wanted some sound advise on what size 20" wheel and tyre size would be appropriate? My main concern is rubbing on the front so just your help would be much appreciated.
Many thanks

Congrats on the new car. I don't want to be rude, and it actually bothers me when other people say this.. but using the search function helps a lot with a topic this popular. Also if you tell us the widths you would like to run that has a large affect on the offsets and tire size you can run.

Thank you, it's a great car and I very happy with it. I did take some time and used the search option on this site which is very helpful, but because I'm not going to be modifying the suspension I found it a little difficult to find what I was looking for. I have found a rim I do like which is Rohana RC5 which comes in a fitment 20"x9.0 + 10.5 or the RC22 fitment 20"x8.5 + 10.0 both in matt black.
The current stock set up is 19"x8.5+9.5 with 34.5 + 48 offsets

9" front you want your offset at 20-25et 245/35/20
10.5 rear 35-38et 285/30/20
these offsets are not aggressive and will look good, tire sizes I stated give you larger overall diameter than stock but 30,25 sidewalls are too thin.
8.5 front 15-20et
10 rear 30et.. with same tires as above

If you have bad roads where you live get wheels that are forged . I have bent 3 sets of wheels in the last 3 months . Two sets of tsw wheels and one set of vossen wheels
