2014 CLS550 which ECU tune?? Renntech vs Eurocharged vs DynamicTurbo?
Hey Guys, I am new to this forum I used to have a BMW 335is but now I finally made a switch to the dark side lol
Anyways I need some advice with who to go to in regards to ECU tuning for stage 1.
All of these companies they have pretty same stats the only difference i can see is the price.
I tested my car 0 to 60 and i was getting 4.2-4.6s, do you think after ECU tune I can be in high 3's?
Also I only got like 500 miles on the car should i wait until i have more miles before ECU tune?
And lastly annoying safty feature where i cant use navigation when i am driving... how can I override or deactivate that? (voice command is working but it takes too long)
Thanks for all the help

Congrats on your CLS,I am former 335i owner as well(7 years ago), first owner to get in the 12's and to run 111 mph back in 07 when there was no other tuners other than Vishnu. I had the Vishnu procede V1.4(the only thing available in the market at the time)
In my opinion, you can do high 3's. or close to a flat 4. This car already tested with a 4.3 sec from factory. Do you have a 4matic version or just the rwd?
I contacted Renntech, Eurocharged and Kleeman and I got 3 different prices.............. I personally never heard in my life of Dynamicturbo.. but I heard of oetuning, Carlson, cargraphic though... It all depends on how much money you are willing to spend.. Eurocharged has the most affordable deals, followed by oetuning then kleemann and last but not least renntech.
As per the tune, I would wait for a little bit, I think is too soon to tune. As per the nav question, there is a device by a company, it is called navisk and it can disable the nav and also the DVD movies so that you can use them while you are driving. It cost around $200.
Here is a good link too:

Thanks man for the info, mine is rwd. I took it to drag racing track at Irwindale, CA last night. Tested it on 1/8 mile run and got very impressive numbers, my best one was 8.35 sec at 86.5 mph it was fun smoking corvettes, mustangs and camaros. Now I am definitely excited about getting it tuned and see what track time I get, hopefully I can do 7.8(which is what I hear cls63 does).
I am just not sure if i should spin my tires a lot to get the warm before, I didn't really do that like most cars did at drag race.

Yeah times are the same, they made me wear helmet lol if you do better than 8.6sec. I did it at Irwindale speedway in California. What are the times you got for 1/4mile? We don't have drag strip that is 1/4mile around us
Its interesting how your speed was faster. I held brake and got to 2000rpms before I released the brake, did you do it differently? Did you spin your tires a lot?

^^ half of the passes (half a dozen) in the high 12's(12.8-12.9) the other half dozen were flat 13.0 and like one or two 13.1. You have to remember that I am at altitude and in the summer heat of AZ.
