Tires and traction (rwd)

I just got a 2012 cls and it came with pirelli nero all seasons. These tires are fairly easy to break loose from a start. Even if I feather the throttle for the first second when I give it a bit more gas I get wheel spin even at 20mph. I have owned muscle cars before but never with this much power. I have only buried the pedal on the highway and the car feels as fast as a 219 cls amg I have been in.

I am thinking of keeping the tires until winter is over and getting some summer tires with more traction and swapping tires with the seasons. I figure it has to be these all season tires. Or maybe the car had a tune I didnt know about but its cpo so doubtful.

What do you all think?

I think tires would make a big difference. Personally, I really like the Michelin Pilot Super Sport for summer/fall tires.

I am riding on OEM Conti Pro Contact all seasons. I can get the rears to break loose a little when I give it serious gas from a start. But overall they stick pretty good.

As to whether our M278 bi-turbos are underrated, most tuners who have worked with our engines think MB under declared our HP by at least 10% if not more.
