I will talk to him about a group buy in case other members want them also. I'm sure he would be willing to give a decent price if he receives multiple orders. My car is back in the shop for a AMS alpha tune, I'll take up close pictures of the extended side skirts once I get the car back.

I'm liking the new back bumper . Are those lights standard in the states? I believe you can only get the new lights in Canada.

Thanks brooklyn, let me know when you have an answer

That's a really nice shot!! ... Looking at that bumper makes me want to revisit updating mine to the AMG CLS63 S look. I'll think about it when my car goes in for a C63 Edition 1 type of interior and the AMS performance alpha package.

I spoke to my guy and he said if I could get at least 5 orders he would give at least 20 percent off of the shipped price of $850. He makes 2 types, the rectangular and the curved type like I have. Our cars are a custom size because of length, therefore there will not be any cut outs for Jack stands but I installed mine on the the rocker panel with double tap screws with no problem.

I would be down for the rectangular style.

Here are a few examples of the curved and rectangular splitters... Again, he generally makes them for coupes but will make custom lengths for our cars...

I can't help noticing you have the orange side marker reflector from the pre facelift model. Mine has the reflector built in to the headlight assembly. This may be because I have the new ROW LED headlights which were not available in the US because MB was slow to get DOT approval.

Yeah, I got my car in 2011, so I didn't have a choice. I'm looking to swap it out to a different color.

Figured I would post mine since I have been lurking for quite a while. Lowered, powder coated wheels, Eurocharged tune, resonator delete, blacked out trim. Big thanks to Apex Customs for blacking it out.

Good Job, white and black looks really good on these cars... Tint the tails, gloss black the roof and possibly the mirrors.

Hey Brooklyn, what does a wrap like that cost? It looks really nice.

Also, after reading your plate, I'm curious what you do for a living?

Wrap cost varies depending on the car and if you want door jabs done. A wrap for a car this size can cost 2500-4500. I get all of my cars wrapped and have a sponsorship with 3M so I generally pay the minimum for labor.

As far as the plate it's a long story... My mom passed away from brain cancer last summer, on her death bed she told me I needed something more executive because my other cars are sporty and colorful. I told her I wanted the CLS but didn't want to get one yet. Anyway she passed in July and in October I trade in a C300 for a C250 sport coupe

. After making the deal I see the CLS and purchase the car.

As a tribute to my mother I get the plate "MOM 4EVR"

During this time I was in the process of making a deal with NBCUniversal to create and produce a reality show with NASCAR called "Road to Xfinity"...
Not to bore you even further with all of the details but dealing with Hollywood has been an eye opener. I decided to change the plate because I was tired of explaining the story behind "mom4evr" and the current plate is a tribute to my favorite movie 'Goodfellas'... Plus it fit my current situation dealing with the reality show.

Thanks... Time is the best healer, even though I struggle with it I know she's in a better place.

My guy did a really good job when he did the jambs, everyone thought it was paint.

Also, sorry to hear about your mother and thanks for sharing so much. I think I was quietly hoping you were in the cutlery/utensil business. It's no surprise to hear reality TV is as ruthless off camera as it is on camera.

Those wraps look great and really have me considering one to bring back excitement to the car in a year or two. How do they look after a couple years? Can you repair small spots of damage?

Thank you... The great thing about these wraps is the fact that most are made out of the same material as clear bra's. If you want to protect your paint from scratches and rock chips while bringing a new color to the car, wrapping is the best options.

I re-wrap my cars every few months(6-8) but they generally last about 6 years outside, 8 inside. If you get small scrapes or scratches they can be repaired with a heat gun. Here are a few examples that I have done to my 6 series which has a custom paint job.

Original color

Painted Lamborghini Murcialogo Blue and Hot Rod Satin Black

Wrapped in 3m matte metallic blue and carbon fiber.

Wrapped in matte aluminum red with an offset carbon fiber strip

That looks way better I think. You are really able to see the skirts and trim details better. Having the contrast black/red on the matte grey looks really good.

Anyone still interested in ordering the carbon fiber sideskirt extensions? I will be placing an order with custom lengths very soon for a Rs7, 2 Mustangs, Infiniti G series coupe and a Jaguar F type. Due to the fact that those cars all require custom lengths like our cars, I'd like to place any order for the CLS During this time. DM me if interested.
