Am I crazy or is there no way to sync the two climate control zones together in a 2014 CLS550. How do you guys work around this problem? Do you just turn both knobs up and down?

 

Your CLS has the manual dials/knobs correct? If so then you just keep them in the position you want at the temp you want. Only on the electronic climate control like on the E you can do that to sync them by hitting the Zone button.

 

So every time I turn the temp. up or down, I have to turn two knobs? I notice the 2015 have a zone button on it.

The 2014 CLS550 do not have the zone button.

 

Neither does my 2016 CLS.

 

Really? It sounds like the zone button is only available with the 3 zone system. How do you deal with it, every time my wife gets in the car, she turns it down to 62 deg. and I have to turn it back up manually. Also, when I adjust the temp, do I just leave passenger side at 72 and adjust the driver side only, or do you guys adjust both knobs?

 

Could it be that the 2016 CLS400 doesnt have the zone button but maybe the CLS550 does?

Yeah, I just adjust both knobs manually to same setting when I am alone in the car. When the wife is riding shotgun she adjusts her side only.

 

So it sounds like even in the 2016 CLS550, only the 3 zone climate control gets the zone button.

Nope—no “Zone” option in my 2016 CLS400 4Matic. This was a feature in my 2013 E350, but not here. I hadn’t even noticed it was missing until reading this post .
