Wheels Boutique – Mercedes CLS63 S AMG x ADV10 Track Spec
Before the original Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class existed, the word “coupe” was reserved for vehicles that had strictly two doors. The Germans decided that they didn’t want to abide by these rules so they threw that definition right out the window and labeled their CLS the world’s first “four door coupe”. For better or for worse the car spawned countless other competitors but none as striking as that W219-generation CLS with its raked roofline. Mercedes followed up on that success by adding a little more muscle in the form of the CLS63 S AMG for its second generation platform. On this application, we went with the subdued look of the ADV10 Track Spec custom forged wheel finished in a Matte/Gloss Gunmetal combo for the center and lips to not take away from the AMG’s powerful look. This “coupe” is a testament that sometimes it pays off to break some of the rules.
