Anyone know of any other lowering module options on the market other than Renntech?
They seem pretty expensive and doesn't look like they've even done anything new with their product, like perhaps bluetooth connectivity or options for portable devices other than their own.
Also, does anyone know if the v3 lowering module will work with the 2012 model? I have a v3 lowering module installed on my 2006 CLS500 which i'm trading in for a 2012 so would like to pull it out and use it for that.

LoMo is the other lowering module that folks have used. It integrates into the instrument cluster and you can control via the steering wheel. I have the Renntech one as well (on a '13) and agree it pretty basic...but for me I don't really adjust too often and was pretty easy to install myself. You could probably just call them to see if the wiring/plugs are the same for the newer CLS from the old...my guess is that its not the same.

I am wondering what I should do as well? What's the difference between going ghost links and going through an electronic plug in module? Is there a difference in ride? I don't think I will ever need to readjust the height.

I started with links (adjustable air ride brand) and then swapped over the the renntech module. If you are never going to adjust then the links are the easiest/cheapest way to go. The links are a pain to adjust if you ever do need to. I would swap between summer and winter wheels/tires and when I did I would adjust the car up a bit in the winter. To do that means you need to jack up each wheel, unmount the link on the bottom, adjust the length and then put back on. Not the end of the world but with a module you can do fine tune adjustments while the car is on the ground and you can visually see the change realtime. With the links its a bit of guess work and then lowering to see what adjustments were made.
