SD card adapter

Does anyone use the Sd card slot? I know a PCMCIA adapter is needed but I cannot seem to find info on which type/brand is best. I would like to use a 32gb card and have read various threads but nothing definitive has been suggested for our cars.

I currently use an old iPhone 4s but for some reason the adaptor cord only will stay connected when the spot on Jupiter is perpendicular to Mars. Any suggestions will greatly be appreciated.

Why not just use a USB drive?

Thank you for your reply... I've actually searched for the usb adaptor with no luck. My 2012 did not come with a port and my MB S/A informed me that a adaptor for the iPhone's lightning plug would come with a usb extension but it was never released.

My C Class coupe has the usb port that I use with a 64gb stick, tons of music and no issues. I figured a SD card would be my best choice.

I think you need one of these to adapt the old iphone jack to a female USB connection.

Thank you again, I'm sure my command unit has the latest software but do you think I would need an update to recognize the USB port? I am almost due for a B1 service and planned on going to my Indy, I will check and see if he can use something like auto logic in case an update is needed.

I doubt you need a software upgrade, but you never know with German cars.
