rear center console removal??
Thx,Will
1) There are 2 screws at the back of the front console (storage area that has the flip covers) that must be undone (holds the air vent in the rear storage unit)
2) Take both rear seat bottoms out. Basically pull up on the cushion closest to the front of the car. Pivot the seat up and finagle the cushion out around the ISO car seat hooks.
3) There is a screw on either side of the rear console that attaches to the bottom of the car (visible when you take the rear cushions out)
4) rear console also pivots out. Start at the front where the air vents are (careful as there are two wires attached at the front when you pull up. Then after you pull up in the front, shift the entire thing forward and it will unclip from the rear
I ended up putting dynamat on the whole rear seat section (careful to cut around the access holes) and also at the bottom of the rear center console. All buzzing/rattles are now gone. It was exacerbated after I put on renntech cat bat mufflers, but now back to being super quiet!!
