CLS350 Buy or not and tuning question
Hi,
I'm new to MB, so please be nice and answer seriously![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I'm 27 years old and single.
I got into kind of problem that i think that someone who drove american muscle car will understand me, please try to answer in-detail so it will help me to make a decision
I'm coming to MB from Ford Mustang 2012 v6 car with 305hp and i sold it.
yesterday i saw Used Silver MB 2007 CLS 350 with 158000km odometer.
i want the car because of the sport-classic "integrated" look
1. I drove the car , but i'm feeling that this car is a kind of "heavy beast" besides the mustang that was very fast and smooth driving
2. i know that Mercedes is German car and Mustang is american , but i want to experience the luxury - classic of the MB, but not miss the fast responding that i got used to.
i know i can get used to the new feel, but i don't want to feel that i'm driving a slow car.
3. on the other side,
i can get a camaro 15 or mustang 15 20000 euro more and enjoy new , and fast car with 300-320 horsepower
QUESTIONS
1. what's your idea about that?
2. because of that feeling i started to search for tunings for the CLS-350
i found Kleemann.dk tuning options
he advised me these tunings
----------------------------------
ECU € 995,00
Headers € 1195,00
Cams € 2995,00
Prices Excludes VAT
3. are these prices good?
4. if i do the tuning i will do the ECU Software tuning first, do you think this tuning is noticeable?
i will be happy to hear opinion from someone that done this tuning on same car.
5. is there any better options for tuning?
Thank you very much for helping.

mercedes or ford/chevy. LoL is that even a question?
I've owned a few fast fords when I was younger. I doubt I'll ever down grade and get another one. If your budget permits, why not step up to a CLS500, which comes stock with around 450hp (380-390ish whp). And you can get a tune to have it running low 12's in the 1/4 mile and have over 500 hp and over 500 tq. I don't know the prices of these cars in europe but im sure they are a lot cheaper then those here in the States.

honestly
id go with a mercedes. the car may be slower and heavier but the quality and ride is incomparable for its class. i just recently went from a bmw m6 to a cls550 and at first i considered it a downgrade but after getting used to the mbz i became much more satisfied. As opposed to the m6 despite all of its power and nimble features. The merc has less up-keep, more comfort and just enough power to do things as quick as you'd like
