Is there any way to increase the turbo noise? Removing some thing on the intake side, like a diy free mod.

I do not like that when the car is in manual mode it will still downshift when you hit the kickdown in the gas pedal, is this normal?

 

It downshifts because you are not in the optimal gear I believe.

 

downpipes and exhaust with some intake will help you hear the spool.

 

I know it thinks im not in the optimal gear, but then that is not a true manual mode like I had in my C63..

Also how do you fully disable ESP??

 

The "Manual Mode" in your 2012 isnt a true manual mode. I have the same 2012 CLS550. You can convert it to a true manual mode by doing this....

As far as the Turbo Sound You can do this and it will be the most glorious sounding turbo ever lol.

 

So are you going to take your car to the dealer and ask them to add those codes?
