I am thinking about buying 2006-2007 cls 500 or 550 for around $15000. I am finding a lot of them with around 50k miles on it. I read a lot about transmission problems but then I've seen these cars get up close to 200k miles. I need help and opinions

 

if you can find a cls550 for $15k with 50k miles on it then jump on it. What state are you finding them that cheap?

 

everywhere northeast, south, and west coast . I've been doing nation wide searches so alot of different states come up

 

yeah, If you can find a 550 for $15k then i wouldnt even think about getting a 500. The difference in performance is night and day. The twin turbos of the 550 are nice.
