2012 CLS, two different interiors?

Hey guys,

Does anyone know why are there two different interiors for the CLS 2012?

This one for example has 3 functionality buttons on each side

While this one is four

Is the one in the first picture the US model maybe? Also any idea what does the THIRD button do from the picture above?

It is heated seats | cooled seats | ??? | window shade

Attachment details MBUSA functions, third button is auxiliary heating for non-USA markets. The auxiliary heating heats the air in the vehicle interior to the set temperature this occurs without using the heat of running engine.

I believe the first picture is a base model with no P1 package, which is actually quite rare. It does not have seat cooling, and therefore two buttons are missing.
