2015 CLS400 - is Airmatic worth it?
I am looking to buy a used 2015 CLS400, but I am not sure whether Airmatic is worth it?
My area has a lot of potholes. Will airmatic increase or decrease the chance of a tire blowout when I drive over a pothole?

it depends if you planning on lowering it or not , if you gonna keep the stock ride height , im pretty sure , it will be the same chance rate as the regular shocks.
airmatic - ride quality is a bit softer , than springs
springs - sportier handling , and it dont feel like a boat when taking ramps or exits.
luv my airmatic , but have had bad luck with struts , i would think for 2015 models they came up with upgraded one and more reliable.

it goes lower a little bit , and also a little bit firmer (also lowers itself depening on the speed "freeway") but not as firm as springs id say , it has a 'boaty' feel if you want...
but if you dont drift or race l lol
but just wanna cruise and enjoy airmatic is for you , because on freeway it is smooth af

Airmatic is the way to go, its comfort and sport all in one. If you have a lot of pothole where you are, the coil suspension is bumpier and the ride will be rougher. If you plan to keep the car after warranty, you might want to consider the coil suspension since air suspension has a higher failure rate.

it is possible , but you gonna lose the ability to rise it nor lower with a button.
which is pointless , might as well get regular suspension on put the coil overs on.
OR
just replace a failed strut which will prolly cost you around 300 for a new rear spring and 500+ for used/refurbished/etc depends on how lucky you are
