Facelift Taillights?

Does anyone know if the facelift 2015-16 tail lights fit the early 12-14 cars? I have a CLS63 and was curious.

I honestly can't tell the difference.

To answer my own question, and for anyone else wondering this. Yes, the facelift and prefacelift tail lights are identical. The only difference is the facelift has dark red accents.

Updated them on my car, initially wasn't sure of the difference either. I can confirm straight plug and play swap no shape difference. The red part is a dark red instead of a bright red as mentioned above and once you see it you can't unseen it. I had one of each in at first for a while and was difficult to tell difference but it drew the eye - I.e. something was off. Depending on cloud cover there was a more marked difference. Now have both in and think they look much more modern / sleek. I have noticed older cars all have bright red and newer cars all have dark red tail lights (in Ireland anyway). It is like the tail light is tinted but only the red part. Worth updating to the new ones if you have to replace (mine was letting water in) or have cash to spare 🤔

Got a new set of OEM tail lights incoming this week finally after wanting to do this for nearly 2 years now. I feel the same way as you do, Danoely!

Guys I have a pair of perfect used pre-facelift taillights off of my 12 CLS63 for sale for $250 + shipping. I also have a cheap facelift driver side taillight with a small chip in the corner for sale for anyone who wants a cheap light to see if they like the look or not. $75 + shipping.

Taillights take about 5-10 minutes to swap out per side.

PM me if interested.
