CLS Shooting Brake 2013 Reversing Camera Not Starting
Hi,
Hope this is the right forum for this question, i couldn't see a sub forum for the Shooting brake specifically!
My CLS Shooting brake (C220 2013) had a reversing camera just above the rear number plate. Normally it engages automatically when you put it into reverse, and it was working fine Friday afternoon. However yesterday it doesn't seem to engage. When going into reverse, the command online display just stays on the navigation or radio screen. I've checked the system settings, and the option 'activate when reverse selected' is enabled. I've checked the fuse (#84, 5v) in the rear fuse box looks ok. I can't see any lose cables, although I've not opened the boot panels to have a proper look.
Is this a known issue? Is it likely to be hardware or software? Is there a known fix (restart in a certain order, change a setting etc)?
