Pet Bed for back seats

I take my 80lbs lab with me on road trips. The problem is that with 2 bucket seats and a console in the back it's a hassle trying to set up a comfortable bed for him. Right now I stack towels in each seat, and lay a really thick/heavy comforter across ever thing.

Has anyone run across a auto pet bed designed for a split bucket rear seat situation?

How about getting a sleeping bag and stuffing it with pillows? I have a 100 lb German Shepherd. You got me thinking about it and I'll try the stuffed sleeping bag with him. Thanks.

I'm kind of doing that now. I put cushions from my porch seat in each bucket, and lay towels across the console, so it's level, then put a really thick comforter (or sleeping bag would work) across that. but it's a pain, and I'm hoping to find an all-in-one solution, with the bucket spacers/pads built in. It's all about comfort for my buddy, we all know what it's like trying to get comfortable on a lumpy mattress.

Right now he tends to curl up on one side or the other.

... and sometimes he helps me drive

The more I think about it, the more I think a sleeping bag would work. Especially if I had partitions sewn in to keep the padding in place for the buckets. I need to check the dimensions of a kids sleeping bag, so nothing hangs out the door.
