2014 off center steering wheel.

My steering wheel is off center a few degrees to the left and it drives me nuts. I took the car to an alignment shop and held the steering wheel dead center while they did the alignment. (They said the alignment was perfect on it before they touched it) I know it's not the alignment. The car has new tires and they are inflated properly. I want to take it to the dealer and have them figure it out but not sure it it's covered under my extended warranty. Is this as simple as adjusting the outer tierods a 1/8 of a turn until center or is there more to it? On a side note, my wife has a 2010 C300 and the steering is dead center and way more tight than mine. Thanks, Scott

My guess is that someone removed the steering wheel and did not replace in same position.

Which begs the question: why did they remove it? Good luck.

or previous alignments where made without centering the steering wheel first.

If youre driving the car while holding the steering wheel dead on center, does the car drive straight?

No. It slightly goes to the right.
