CLS550 - stalled, would not start
Total surprise for my wife this evening as the car simply doesn't restart at the lights and cannot be restarted whatever she tried. The battery is good (less than 6m old), all other power was on and fuel was full. Just couldn't be started or cranked either by button or key. Tried turning ECO off. No luck. Would not start, not even ticking. The recovery turned up to move the car to the side of the road (it was in the middle of a multi-lane) then a Mercedes tech who could find no fault codes. Off it went on the back of a truck to the dealership. It had only been back a few days after fitting new lower control arms. Not the most reliable car. Any similar experiences or ideas as to what may have caused it?
