Reviving this thread as I am thinking of getting this for W212 E550 but wanted to confirm if wheel alignment is necessary when lowering.
Also, am I right in saying that the ride height stays fixed even at high speeds? And the ride height doesnt restore to default value once you turn the engine off?

RRS Supercharged and CLS550 (W218)
The same thing happens to me occasionally when I try to use the module...only used on my car. I just unplug it and restart and plug it back in and it's back to normal.

The new ride height is subject to all the same algorithms and controls as the factory setting, so it will vary with sport/comfort settings, and speed, etc.
The new ride height is stored permanently and will be maintained between restarts.

I did. He seems pretty cool. This is the 2nd one I've received. He said hes seen this problem on ONE other car. To give him another week and if the next one doesnt work he will refund me.

I got my module today and unfortunately it did not work for me and to top it off, now I'm met with the suspension malfunction error and the airmatic is stuck in sport mode!
Here's what happened - My airmatic was in sport mode prior to me plugging the module in and despite following the instructions to the tee I had no luck! When I select either the Low or custom mode I was met with a screen which read, "Security Access" followed by "Failure" I figured this perhaps is normal and ignored, removed the module and of course nothing happened when I started the car, apart from the fact I was faced with malfunction error.
I retried again and same thing, only mode which worked without giving me the failure message was the Factory mode. When I started the car with this mode, the malfunction error still remained! I then tried adjusting the suspension from sport to comfort and nothing happened. The sport light stays illuminated and car refuses to change suspension level now.
Going to message the seller now and see what he says but any thoughts on the above?
My car is an 2011 E550 by the way.

Right good news! The module worked! not sure how but it works!
Like I said earlier, I last left the mode in Factory settings and went for a drive to get myself some beers to cheer myself up. Whilst parked there, I thought lets give it one more try and law and behold it worked like a charm!
The E sits too high for my liking even in sport and I set it too low and the stance now is on point! The lowered stance really compliments my 19 AMG 7 spoke wheels! Really pleased, I shall detail my car tomorrow and will follow up with some pictures.

2012 CLS 550 Launch Edition, 2004 CLK 500, 2004 Honda Civic
Well, inquired about purchasing the module for my 2012 CLS 550 (w218) Launch Edition and he said it wouldn’t work despite having airmatic all around.
I pointed out to him that the Launch Edition had the older NTG 4.0 Comand and he stated it wouldn’t work with it. Super bummed! Attached a photo of the NTG 4.0 Comand. Would anyone have any insight or knowledge of it can actually work!?

MY17 S63AMG - MBUSA Buyback. MY16 SL63 - Sold MY19 W213 E63s. 2020 W213 E63s Wagon
DO NOT buy from this seller. Bought it for MY17 S63 and the module did not work as advertised so contacted the seller. He said sure, return it and he’ll refund the cost plus return shipping. One month later I get it back starting the package was refused and was returned back to my from Russia. Contacted the seller several times and doesn’t even reply.

Sorry, was referring to the lowering module. Seller on eBay is mbcansolution whom has blocked me since my return. The location of the product on eBay is: Brest, Belarus where as you can see from my photos are from the same city and country.
I understand some module buyers here on the forum are working fine, but other not so much ( initially ) on the W213 forum, but to sell something on eBay and it didn’t work for the buyer and seller agrees to the return and pay for return shipping and then refuse the return and blocks me is just a bad seller in my book. For those of you buying from this seller can provide him with the link on my post and ask him to explain why he would do such a thing I would much appreciate it.
I just wanted to put this out there for those who deals with this buyer.

Please see photos of the last time this seller responded to me eBay messages and have since block me. The purchased was through my wife’s eBay account as it was a gift from her. Please note the return shipping fee amount matches the return package to the eBay message, eBay buyer and the seller’s address should matches those who has purchased from this seller all matches.
If you can kindly reach out to him and ask him to respond back to me or through this forum, I would greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

I just talked to him on WhatsApp today. Seems like you pissed him off probably. Did you actually return the module back to him?

Seems you have more interest on this than others and promoting his products? No stores, the module didn’t work and seller agreed to take back the module and pay for return shipping as seen on the messages and then when the package gets back to the seller, he refused the package and was sent back to me and to make matters worst, he blocks me on eBay. I’m not worried, file it with eBay and my credit card company so I’ll get my money back one way or another. Just wanted other buyers to know how he operates when his module doesn’t work.

Which module did you get though? This module for w218 isn’t same as w222. Maybe that’s why? I personally don’t take back returns for people buying wrong things or I slap on 30% restocking fee.
Mine didn’t work either but he resolved it within minutes!
