MB CPO Extended Warranty
I just purchased a CPO CLS 550 2014 last week. My CPO warranty runs until Nov 2019, I was offered a quote of $3497, when I purchased the car to extend the warranty until Nov 2021. How does this deal sound in comparison to others you may have had or been offered. I have until next week to purchase after that the rate may change as I was told by finance officer. It is unlimited mileage warranty also.

I've heard of two lower offers. Try Cassandra Castro at "International Auto" in Wisconsin and try Jeff Jackson at "Tafel Motors" in Kentucky. These are both franchised Mercedes dealerships. The number they quoted me was much less than $3497.

+1 for Jeff Jackson at Tafel Motors in Louisville, KY. That happens to be my local MB dealership and I bought an extended warranty for my '13 C350 coupe from him a few years ago. Best price I could find.

Hi dewb4 - I got the same quote ($3500) from ParkPlace Mercedes in Dallas when I bought my cls550 (38k miles if it matters) - they also told me that I had until the end of the CPO period to purchase the additional year, which made sense to me - given the CPO warranty itself is a +1 year to the manf. Interesting that they told you a week (although, the salesman told me a few lies as well so *shrug* car salesmen I guess). I opted to get the wheel and tire package, but to pass on the extended CPO.

$2520 for 24 months/unlimited millage for my 2012 Cls550 Did everything over the phone. 5 minutes and she emailed me the warranty conformation.

To extend the MB CPO, does the car need to purchased through a MB dealer?
I'm looking at 2015/16's so they all still have the original warranty, but most of the cars are from non-MB dealers that purchase off-lease cars.
