updating navigation
#2
Hi,
Just reawakening this old thread.
I have a similar problem. Upon inserting my SD card. I get the message as shown above.
My original card can be read every time by the system, but after the 'Activating Navigation' message, is shown as 'navigation data corrupted'.
I bought a replacement card online, which worked perfectly for around a year before it developed the 'No card inserted containing navigation data' problem. If I am persistant and constantly remove\insert the card and turn on\off the system, it will eventually work after around 30 attempts.
I have bought yet another replacement card after thinking this was a card fault, but I have the same issue right from the start.
As the original (corrupted) card can be read I do not suspect the card reader. I have informed MB, who investigated the problem (at great expense) and just say the card 'must be' faulty.
Bit of a coincidence to have 2 faulty cards surely?
I have reset the system as per the advice above, to no effect.
Is it possible to check\repair the contents of the card on a PC?
Any ideas would be welcome!
Thanks
