Yayomedina on the driver side I have this piece of plastic that's in the way did you come across this ?
A similar piece of plastic is on the passenger side of my 2013 cls550. How did you guys get around it to install the side markers? Did you reach above or below the piece of plastic to get your hands on the side marker? Passenger side of front wheel well on 2013 cls550
Same with me, be prepared to shread your hands doing this. I also have a 2013. The result is worth it though. I would suggest wearing nitrile gloves to protect your hands. OOPs, now I see you're wearing gloves.
Got the white LED side markers installed (with the help of my girlfriend and her smaller hands)! I'm now getting a "Check Left Side Marker Lamp" message even tho both sidemarkers are both illuminated. Anyone else get this error message before? I'm hoping it goes away on its own.
there shouldn't be any error lights, did they come with can bus resistors. if not then you might need to get can bus resistors and wire them inline with the power wire.
