I'm new here and I'm sure many of you have seen this question but is there a CLS (beside the new one) that has Apple carplay and android auto?

What I got from that before was that only COMAND Online was compatible.
So my next question is are there any 16+ CLS with COMAND and activated carplay? I have yet to see any at all.

2016 CLS550 4Matic
I believe all 2016 model year CLS cars manufactured after March 2016 came with CarPlay enabled from the factory. 2016 cars manufactured before March could get CarPlay activated through a dealer software update. Mine was made in March 2016 and came with option 16U on the data sheet (CarPlay).

My date is 9/15 and I have audio 20 NTG 5.0 compatible
Since my car was before march and still a 2016 can I at least retrofit a command 5.1 system and then update to carplay. I just have seen a 16+ model with it. Maybe its because I have a 400. Also I have yet to see any aftermarkets for that year and model. I see the 15 and down for the CLS.

Mine is a 2016 and did not come with Carplay. I was almost ready to pay for an aftermarket retrofit for around $700 when I came across the attached Mercedes doc. Took it to my dealership and they installed it for around $300. Included replacement of the USB ports in the center console.
