New here

Hey everyone. Made an account to get some insight on the car. I am currently looking to buy a 2014 or 2015 cls. Obviously big differences between the two. I love the headlights on both because 2014 has led fog lights and the 2015 I love the eyebrow led look. So my question is the interior. Why is the screen surrounded by an inch of black space? I swear this is the only thing bothering me. Can anyone tell me why and IF there’s a way to expand it? I haven’t test drive a car yet but gonna check one out soon. Maybe looks better in person but idk..any advice would be appreciated thank u.

it is what it is,

My complaint is that dimming the dash lights is a pain in the ***. you have go into the screen menus to find the right one to dim, but it only dims the instrument cluster not the big screen. screen is way to bright at night. I cant believe thy missed that and made it so hard to do. A night on the highway we just put something in front of the screen to block it entirely. we have a 2014

so is that a no? Lol just asking cause I know there be coders and whatever..but I guess I get over it. & yeah that does sound weird about the brightness. how is the gps/navigation? I have a 2016 sonata sport & it has Apple car play which I love cause everything is in the touch screen. GPS, phone and music. Is there anything similar or everything separate/manual.

GPS works good, you just have to pull over and park to select a destination. cannot do that when the car is moving.
