Manual recommends:
255/40 R18 all around for winter tires. Those would be on8.5J x 18 H2 wheels.
It also states you can put M+S tires on the stock wheel sizes:
255/40 R 18 front
285/35 R 18 rear
I went with the 255/40 all around set up on a spare set of wheels. I have a shop where I can store my off season wheel/ tires. I have Bridgestone Blizzak LM001s. I’m happy with them. My wife has Pirelli Winter Soto Zero 3s on her A8L, and they’re good as well. I couldn’t find Nokians to fit either vehicle. If you can find appropriately sized Nokians, I’d go with those. For serious snow/ice driving, I’d go with the same tire size all around.
