CLS 500 Reduced Braking Power problem
Hello everyone. I have a 2006 CLS 500 with 126,000 miles on it. Recently I've been having a major issue with the car doing what seems to be a forced brake override that forcefully shuts the car down whenever it pleases. The dash turns red and reads "REDUCED BRAKING POWER, PLEASE DEPRESS BRAKE PEDAL FULLY.." I've replaced the brake stop switch, but that hasn't stopped the problem. Has anyone else had this problem, and can let me know what could be causing this problem? Thanks

SBC braking system, need to have someone pull fault codes using MB DAS (diagnostics). If in MBUSA market you can have dealer check it at no cost under 25 extended warranty, see attachment. If problem is not covered by warranty dealer should definitively diagnose including fault code(s) and cost. Your call to have them complete, use independent, or DIY.
