is battery registration required like BMW?
(sorry if this topic is covered before, i searched forum but couldnt find anything for late model mercedes)
I have a 2016 CLS550.
I plan to change the starter battery (in the engine compartment) myself.
Anyone who has changed the battery of the newer CLS (or other newer model Benz), can you advise if battery registration is required (like it is with BMW models)?
Also, do you know if changing the battery will require a security code for COMAND or radio code?
Please advise
