Running down door rattles

Anyone have a write up of dynamating and or eliminating rattles? Mainly from passenger side doors.

Alright I guess I'll take the dive. Maybe next month, this month I'm slammed. It sounds like there is a possible issue with windows and someone mentioned the door lock pins... I found gently pushing against the area above the arm rest fixes the issue.

I'll take off door cards and see if anything rattles and add some dynamite or equivalent.

Maybe do new tweeters... I'm not sure. They seemed to lose separation at high volumes and door woofers seem to vibrate at certain frequencies so I'm hoping dynamatting will dampen resonance.

That happens to me as well I have to push the arm rest of my front passanger door in order for it to stop. Let me know what you have found.

Exactly the same in my case. It seems like a "surface" rattle (in that it is clear - unmuffled as it would be if it was coming from behind the panel). It has a light sound - as though it is something small and light as opposed to something heavy. So the tweeter comment has me intrigued. I had not thought of that.

If I reach across the passenger seat to the passenger door and pull in on the cubby panel under the arm-rest on the door, it stops. I am not sure if it is from the same source as you are experiencing, but I'll certainly let you know if I manage to track it down.

I must say, as much as I love the CLS 63s, it is among the "rattlier" MBs I have owned. I assume due to the stiffer suspension. Even my AMG GTS is more sold (though it is newer and has only 5,000 KMS on it so far).

I have a similar problem, when a song w/ bass is on too loud, I hear what I presume to be the styrofoam insert slapping against the inside of the door card. I am going to try to install a piece of foam to stop it.

When I gently push underneath the arm rest, or slightly pull it out, the noise goes away.
