CarPlay Audio Settings

Got carplay recently, however, the settings that I have for my media/radio which is bass maxed, treble 6, mid tones around 7, isn’t it for carplay. The bass is significantly less and I haven’t found a way to change the audio settings for carplay. Is this the same for everybody and just one of the big cons of carplay?

If you have an iPhone, try this. It may help.

Go to settings and slide down to "Music"

Select EQ and then select Bass Booster.

This should increase bass when played on your car radio through Carplay.

If you disable CarPlay auto start, and plug your phone in, it will come up as “iPod” in the COMAND menu. You can adjust bass, mid and treble settings as required from there. CarPlay uses those settings for your phone.
